This new Birmingham tote bag is part of the new ‘Words’ collection by Midlands artist, Jackie Roberts.
Contrasting well against her black and white line drawings this design captures the essence of Birmingham in words and numbers. They say that pictures tell a thousand words and in many cases that's true, but words somehow drive the imagination more.
Words can have more than one meaning... take the words in this picture as an example.
- 1000 TRADES.. the bar maybe? or the industrial history of Birmingham?
- The BULL RING... as it was back in the day, or the exciting shopping centre it is now?
- And 0121... brings back so many memories of my childhood phone number!
So let your imagination run wild with this print of the Words of Birmingham.
The tote bag is made of cotton and has long handles so it can be carried or hung over your shoulder. Printed on one side, the design contrasts well against the black background, making a real statement as you walk around the streets, proudly showing that you're from Birmingham!
Supplied in a cardboard wrap and protective sleeve.
Not suitable for machine washing or tumble drying. Do not iron. Surface wash with a damp cloth only.
